Is there a Festival’s Got Talent this year?
No, we have decided not run this event.
Why was the date to the Friendship Festival moved to July 13th- 16th, instead of the Canada Day Weekend?
Many changes have happened over the last few years including less funding from grants. Due to that and the competition of many midway companies, that date works best. In addition, our new dates work better for signing up vendors to attend the Festival. Despite our date change, our organization has remained dedicated to supporting and promoting better relations between Canada and the USA, the economic development of the Region of Niagara South in general, and the Town of Fort Erie in particular, tourism and cultural activities, and an international Friendship Festival celebrating the good relations between Canada and the United States of America since the end of the War of 1812.
